SiOO:X Pre-wash
SiOO:X Pre-Wash is a wood-strengthening cleaning treatment for use with SiOO:X Wood Protection. It is ideal for cleaning surfaces with heavy dirt and algae growth prior to application of the SiOO:X system.
SiOO:X Pre-Wash can also be used to clean previously SiOO:X treated timber if it is suffering from heavy accumulation of dirt or staining.
SiOO:X is suitable for many common species including Larch, Cedar, various hardwoods, and certain modified woods eg thermally modified pine. Please contact our sales team for further information on species suitability.
The SiOO:X Pre-Wash is available in 1 litre tubs.
Product Details
Mix with water in a 1:8 dilution for regular cleaning, or a 1:4 ratio for more heavily soiled areas.
One litre of diluted liquid is enough for about 4-5 square metres, depending on the degree of dirt and dilution.
For timber which has not previously been treated with SiOO:X apply the full 3 coat SiOO:X Wood Protection and Surface Protection system once the timber has dried.
When cleaning previously SiOO:X treated timber with SiOO:X Pre-Wash it is important to reapply SiOO:X Surface Protection to complete the SiOO:X treatment.
Re-apply a full bodied coat of SiOO:X Surface Protection to all areas including any end grain and cross cut sections.
